Azerbaijan signs agreements on two 25 MW solar power plants in Nakhchivan

A meeting was held at the Ministry of Energy with the participation of Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov, Azərenerji OJSC, Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic’s Minister of Economy Kazim Huseynaliyev, the State Agency for Renewable Energy Sources, Azerbaijan Green Energy Company (AGEC), CEI Nakhchivan LLC, Nobel Energy, and Enerso LLC, APA reports.

In conclusion, the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Azerenergy OJSC and CEI Nakhchivan LLC signed an "Investment Agreement", an "Energy Purchase and Sale Agreement" and a "Transmission Network Connection Agreement" on the 25 MW "Shams 1" Solar Power Plant project in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. Additionally, an Investment Agreement, a Power Purchase Agreement, and a Grid Connection Agreement were signed between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Azərenerji OJSC, and Enerso LLC for the 25 MW “Western Horizon” Solar Power Plant project. The investment agreements on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan were signed by Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov, while the power purchase and grid connection agreements were signed by President of Azərenerji OJSC Baba Rzayev.
