"Target of increasing share of renewable energy sources in installed capacity to 30% until 2030 may be exceeded," said Deputy Energy Minister of Azerbaijan Elnur Soltanov at the conference on "Sustainable Development Goals in Azerbaijan on Green Transformation", APA-Economics reports.
According to him, currently, the share of renewable energy sources in the installed capacity is 17% (and 6% in the production of electricity), but it is planned to increase this indicator to 30% by 2030.
"But we think that we will exceed this goal and work is being done in this direction," the deputy minister emphasized.
