A total of more than 61 billion cubic meters of associated gas have been delivered to the Azerbaijani state from the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG) oil and gas field block so far, APA-Economics reports, citing bp's report on the results of its activities in Azerbaijan for 2025.
It was noted that to date, approximately 4.6 billion barrels of oil have been produced from the ACG field.
According to the information, last year, 10 oil production wells, 5 water injectors, 1 gas injector and 1 well for re-injection of cuttings were drilled and completed in ACG.
Note that the ACG agreement was initially signed on September 20, 1994. The first oil was obtained from the Chirag field on November 7, 1997.
