About 376 bcm of gas produced from ACG and Shah Deniz so far

In accordance with the operative information in January-September of 2022, 34,4 bln cubic meters of natural gas were produced in Azerbaijan. 10 bln cubic meters of gas was produced from Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli, 18,5 bln cubic meters from Shah Deniz, 5.9 bln cubic meters were produced by Socar. In accordance with the relevant period of the previous year, gas was produced with an increase of 8.6 percent, i.e. 2.7 billion cubic meters," the Ministry of Energy told APA-Economics.

During the reporting period, gas sales abroad amounted to 16.3 billion cubic meters, which is 22.6 percent more in comparison to the relevant period of the previous year. Within 9 months, 8.3 billion cubic meters of gas were sold to Europe, 6.1 billion cubic meters to Turkiye, and 1.9 billion cubic meters to Georgia. Note that during this period, about 4,2 bln cubic meters of gas were transported to Turkiye via TANAP.

From the commissioning of the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli and Shah Deniz fields to October 1 of the current year, 200 billion cubic meters of gas were produced from Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli and 176 billion cubic meters from Shahdeniz. During this period, 122.6 billion cubic meters of gas produced from the Shah Deniz field was transported to export.
