The 31st Energy Forum has commenced in Baku, APA-Economics reports.
The forum is discussing energy security, the global energy transition, development prospects for the oil and gas industry, renewable energy sources, and international cooperation.
Officials responsible for the energy sector from Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine, Egypt, Moldova and other countries, as well as representatives of international organizations and leading energy companies, are participating in the event.
Discussions within the forum are expected to focus on energy diplomacy, new energy corridors, the development of the Southern Gas Corridor, green energy projects, and the future of energy markets.
Note that the forum will continue on June 2. Sessions on the second day will be dedicated to gas markets, energy transformation, green energy corridors, hydrogen technologies, and future directions for the development of the energy sector.
