Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli produces an average of 841,169 barrels per day in July

Baku. Vugar Mustafayev – APA-Economics. The total daily production rate at Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli reached 841,169 barrels per day in July, said BP-Azerbaijan which operates Azeri-Chirag-Geneshli group of fields.
The average production rate was 124,801 barrels per day at Chirag 1 and 668,624 barrels per day at Azeri and 47,839 barrels per day at Deepwater Guneshli which went on stream a few months ago. The total daily production rate at Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli stood at 685,520 barrels or 90,200 tons per day in 2007.
The average production rate was 132,406 barrels per day at Chirag 1 and 553,092 barrels per day at Azeri.
During 2006, the group produced 472,000 against the target of 458,000 barrels of oil per day average, achieved through delivery of first oil from East Azeri four months ahead of schedule and overall good well performance and operating performance.
According to the outlook for 2008, about 134,000 barrels per day is expected from Chirag, 243,500 barrels per day from Central Azeri, 235,300 barrels per day from West Azeri, 144,400 barrels per day from East Azeri and 82,800 barrels per day from DWG.
ACG participating interests are: BP (operator-34.1%), Chevron (10.2%), SOCAR (10%), INPEX (10%), Statoil (8.6%), ExxonMobil (8%), TPAO (f6.8%), Devon (5.6%), Itochu (3.9%) and Hess (2.7%).
