Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. Russia’s Gazprom is negotiating with the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) on the procurement of natural gas, Russia’s Trade Officer in Azerbaijan, Yuri Shedrin told a press conference.
“The two countries may conclude swap deals for natural gas purchase. Russia may also buy gas from Azerbaijan directly,†he noted.
Azerbaijan refused to buy Russian gas last year.
