Azerbaijan produced 1.6 billion kilowatts electricity last month

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov – APA-ECONOMICS. Azerbaijan produced about 1.6 billion kilowatts of electricity during July,
Azerenerji, the national utility, said 1.4 billion kilowatts was generated by thermal power stations and the rest by hydropower stations.
Besides, Azerbaijan continued exchanging electricity with the neighboring countries like Russia, Iran, Turkey and Georgia.
In total, 12.6 billion kilowatts of electricity were produced during January-April. 10.9 billion kilowatts was generated by hydropower stations and 1.7 billion kilowatts by thermal power stations
