Construction of multi-fueled power plant commenced in Azerbaijan’s Guba Region

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov – APA-Economics. The construction of multi-fueled power plant has commenced in Azerbaijan’s Guba Region, Vice-President of Azerenerji OJSC Marlen Asgarov told APA-Economics.
“The necessary infrastructure has been formed in the place of the station. It is planned to finish the construction of the plant within this yearâ€, he said.
Marlen Asgarov said that 104MW-power plant would play an important role in supplying northern regions with electricity and would also supply Winter Sport Tourism Complex that will be built in Gusar with electricity. Two 110KW-power lines will be constructed in the area for this purpose. Equipment of Finland’s Warsilla Company is used in the plant.
Five 150MW-multi-fueled power plants were constructed in Azerbaijan in 2006-2007.
