Turkish ASELSAN Company plans to extend sale in Azerbaijan

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov – APA-Economics. Turkish ASELSAN Company plans to extend sale in a number of countries, as well as in Azerbaijan, chairman of ASELSAN Management Board Mehmet Cavdaroglu said, APA-Economics reports. Cavdaroglu said that ASELSAN made $22mln. sale abroad last year.
“Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan hold the first places in the exportation of ASELSAN”, he said.
Mehmet Cavdaroglu also noted that the company had recently sold means of communication for military units in Azerbaijan.
Murat Bayar, Undersecretary of the Turkish Defense Industries Undersecretariat, who recently visited Azerbaijan, said ASELSAN would possibly form production of means of communication in Azerbaijan. The company may modernize T-72 tanks in Azerbaijan in future.
