The US Embassy congratulates Azerbaijan Women’s 3x3 basketball team

The US Embassy congratulated the women's 3x3 basketball team of Azerbaijan on the occasion of the victory, the embassy post in this regard on its X account, APA reports.

"Congratulations to the Azerbaijan Women’s 3x3 basketball team! You may have defeated us last night, but here’s hoping for a rematch in the quarterfinals," the post reads.

Recall that Azerbaijan Women’s 3x3 basketball team held its next match at the Summer Olympic Games held in Paris, the capital of France, on July 31, and the team faced the USA in the II round. The match ended with a 20:17 victory of the Azerbaijani team.

Noted that the Azerbaijani team will face the French and German national teams in the III and IV rounds, respectively.
