Taekwondo matches have been completed in Summer Olympic Games in Paris, France, APA reports.
All medal winners of the competitions have been revealed today.
First, Adrian Vicente, who lost to Gashim Magomedov, faced Tunisian Mohamed Khalil Jendoubi. Jendoubi won 2:0 (11:3, 12:1) and became the bronze medalist of the Olympics.
In the final match, Azerbaijani taekwondo fighter Gashim Magomedov faced South Korean athlete Park Taejoon. Our athlete was injured in a tense battle and had to seek medical help.
Nevertheless, he persevered and ended the fight. Gashim, who lost to Park Taejoon 0:2 due to injury (0:9, 1:13), won the silver medal of the Olympics for our country.
