Azerbaijani female boxers finished CIS Games with 9 medals

Today, the final fights in boxing competitions were held at the Yevlakh Olympic Sports Complex within the framework of the III CIS Games, Apasport.az reports.

Azerbaijani boxer Guler Huseynova (48 kg) won the gold medal by defeating Russian Darya Gavrina.

Aysel Farajova (46 kg), Amina Taghi (50 kg), Jamila Muradli (54 kg), Aynur Ismayilova (60 kg) and Fidan Bakarova (63 kg) lost to their rivals in the final and settled for second place.

Aylin Nazarova (46 kg), Zahra Mammadova (52 kg) and Mirrugeyya Azerpur (57 kg) won bronze medals.

Thus, Azerbaijani female boxers finished the tournament with 1 gold, 5 silver and 3 bronze medals.

It should be noted that the boxing competitions will conclude on October 5.
