Rules for ensuring the cybersecurity of strategic facilities will be developed, APA reports.
This is reflected in President Ilham Aliyev's Decree on the implementation of the Law "On Information, Informatization and Protection of Information."
According to the Decree, the Cabinet of Ministers must, within one month, prepare and submit to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan its proposals on the rules for implementing the regulatory sandbox, including supervision over the activities of persons participating in it, the maximum duration of the regulatory sandbox, and the procedure for applying exemptions from the requirements of regulatory legal acts.
At the same time, the Cabinet of Ministers has been instructed to prepare and submit to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, within three months, its proposals on rules for ensuring the information security and cybersecurity of the information infrastructure belonging to state bodies (institutions), except for entities engaged in intelligence and counterintelligence activities, as well as that of protected persons and protected and strategic facilities.
