Information resources registration draft will be submitted to the Government of Azerbaijan this month

Baku. Aynur Velieva - APA-Economics. Azerbaijanâ€™s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology will submit to the Cabinet the Information Resources Registration Draft by the end of January.
Rufat Gulmammadov, Information Society Development Officer of the Ministry, said the draft has already been agreed upon with the Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Justice.
The objective information resources registration is to ensure a single registry of information resources in the country.
The public registry will also include the implementation of effective mechanisms for allocating funds to the use and enhancement of information resources, protection of state information resources and standardization of technological solutions in informatization.
Information resources created by experienced companies in compliance with standards will be included in the registry.
Information resources of state bodies will be included in the registry compulsorily while this will be voluntary for the private sector.
According to preliminary information, the project will be funded through the state budget.
