State Commission discloses new data on hostages, captives, missing persons

According to the report, the fates of 15 missing people became clear during this period. And the commission chairman will be reported to for their names’ exclusion from the list. According to the information for 1 July 2015, 4,013 people are registered at the state commission as missing persons.
Furthermore, facts were uncovered and registered of 6 Azerbaijani citizens having been taken captive or hostage by Armenian armed forces during military operations and released by various means afterwards. According to the information for 1 July 2015, 1,434 are registered as people saved from hostage or captivity. New facts have emerged of 65 people who are registered at the state commission as missing persons being possible alive in the occupied territories as captives and hostages. 173 inquiries about 147 people have been submitted to various state bodies and international organizations in order to specify the data available at the state commission, search the missing people, and specify data of the people having been saved from hostage and captivity. Additional data about 157 missing people were entered to the base, and materials about 518 people were added to their search and investigation files.
