US Vice President JD Vance has said he believes Donald Trump would support him if he runs for president in 2028.
Vance made the remarks in an interview with 2WAY.
“I think if I enter the race, the president would support me,” he said.
However, Vance stressed that he had not decided whether to run in 2028 and had not discussed the matter with Trump.
The vice president said his current focus was on November’s congressional midterm elections.
“My goal is to get as many Republicans elected as possible in early November. I haven’t decided what I’ll do in 2028,” he added.
