The borderless nature of cyber threats in the digital environment makes it necessary to strengthen international cooperation, Allahveran Ismayilov, Deputy Chief of the State Service for Special Communication and Information Security, said at the 8th Summit of Information Security Leaders held in Baku, APA-Economics reports.
He noted that addressing the security challenges posed by artificial intelligence cannot be limited to measures taken at the national level alone.
"Because threats in the digital environment know no borders. In this regard, international cooperation, exchange of experience, application of modern approaches, and coordinated action against common risks are among the key conditions for cyber resilience," Allahveran Ismayilov emphasized.
The deputy chief stated that the 8th Summit serves as an important platform for discussing the integration of AI-related risks into information security and risk management mechanisms.
Allahveran Ismayilov expressed his gratitude to the European Union, Estonia's e-Governance Academy, and Insight Advisory for their partnership in organizing the summit.
He described this cooperation as an example of joint efforts in the fields of information security and cybersecurity.
