Trafic accident kills 2, injures 4 in Azerbaijan's Qusar

Two people have been killed and four others injured in a serious road traffic accident in the Gusar district, APA reports.

The incident occurred last night in the village of Yukhari Lagar in Gusar. A Kia passenger vehicle lost control and plunged into a ravine.

According to the information, two people died at the scene, while four others sustained injuries of varying severity. One of the injured was trapped inside the vehicle and left in a helpless condition.

Firefighters and rescuers from the Gusar District Fire Protection Unit of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to the scene. The trapped woman was rescued from the vehicle and handed over to an emergency medical team.

It was later reported that the victims of the accident were family members of Colonel Elman Ramaldanov. Those who lost their lives in the accident were Colonel Elman Ramaldanov’s 36-year-old daughter, Tamilla Ramaldanova, and a close family member, 43-year-old Jamila Baghirova.

An investigation into the incident is currently underway by the relevant authorities.
