A court hearing was held on the criminal case initiated at the State Security Service (SSS) against Aslan Hasanov, who was accused of financing terrorism and participating in a criminal organization, APA reports.
The verdict was announced at the trial held under the chairmanship of Judge Bahruz Muslumov at the Ganja Court on Grave Crimes.
According to the verdict, the accused Aslan Hasanov was sentenced to 11 years of imprisonment.
According to the accusation, Aslan Hasanov, as a member of a criminal organization created in the territory of a foreign country for the purpose of committing grave and especially grave crimes, participated in ensuring the stable activity of this criminal organization and in its operations, and, on the instructions of the leaders of this organization, committed actions of financing terrorism.
It should be noted that the accused was charged under Articles 214-1 (financing of terrorism) and 218.2 (participation in a criminal organization) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
