The names of those who died in the fire in Lokbatan have been announced.
According to information obtained by APA, Zulfiya Yusifova (1998), her two young children Yusif Yusifov (2016), Maryam Yusifova (2019), and Yusif Huseynov (1953), who lived in the neighboring apartment, died in the fire.

The Press Service of the Prosecutor General’s Office reports, in response to the inquiries received, that employees of the Department of Criminalistics and Information Technologies of the Prosecutor General’s Office, together with the relevant state bodies, including employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, are conducting an inspection of the scene and carrying out other necessary procedural actions in connection with the fire that occurred in a multi-storey residential building located in the “Gobu Park-1” residential complex in Lokbatan settlement, Garadagh district, Baku city, APA reports citing the Press Service of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
It was stated that in order to determine the cause of the fire, appropriate investigative actions are being carried out and expert examinations have been appointed.
Four people (women) were hospitalized at the Clinical Medical Center by the emergency medical aid brigade with a preliminary diagnosis of smoke inhalation poisoning.
Of the four people hospitalized at the Clinical Medical Center, the condition of three is assessed as moderately severe.
One person has been provided with the necessary medical care and is planned to be discharged home for outpatient treatment.
As a result of the incident, 4 people (including 2 minors) died from smoke inhalation.
An investigation is being conducted by the Department of Criminalistics and Information Technologies of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
Additional information will be provided to the public regarding the results.

The "112" hotline of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received information about a fire in a residential building located in the "Gobu Park-1" residential complex in the Lokbatan settlement of the Garadagh district of the capital, APA reports, citing the Press Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
It was reported that, in response to the information, forces from the State Fire Protection and Special Risk Rescue services of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were immediately deployed to the area.
Firefighters extinguished the fire that broke out in an apartment on the seventh floor of a nine-story residential building in a short time, preventing it from spreading to other apartments.
As a result of the fire, the flammable structures of the kitchen and hallway of a two-room apartment with a total area of 45 m² burned down over an area of 13 m². Four people lost their lives in the fire.
The rest of the apartment and other apartments were protected from fire.
Residents of the building were evacuated as part of security measures.
