An explosion occurred at a café in Baku, APA reports.
According to the Press Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES), information was received via the "112" hotline about an explosion at a facility located on S. Mammadov Street in the Binagadi district of Baku, and forces of the State Fire Protection Service were immediately deployed to the scene.
Upon assessing the operational situation at the site, it was determined that an explosion occurred in a facility operating as a café with a total area of 40 square meters, allegedly caused by a sudden ignition in a gas pipe.
As a result of the incident, the café sustained damage, and three employees of the café were injured.
MES personnel implemented the necessary safety measures at the scene.
Relevant agencies are conducting an investigation into the incident.
