PACE co-rapporteurs meet Prosecutor General Zakir Garalov

Baku. Shahriyar Alizadeh â€“ APA. Prosecutor General Zakir Garalov met with Co-rapporteurs of the Monitoring Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Joseph Debono Grech and Pedro Agramunt who are on a visit to Azerbaijan. Press service of the General Prosecutorâ€™s Office told APA that Garalov said Azerbaijan attached great importance to the strengthening of relations with the Council of Europe.

The co-rapporteurs highly assessed reforms implemented in Azerbaijan in judicial and legal system, especially the work done for fulfillment of obligations serving to the more reliable protection of human rights and freedoms, expressed their support to the democratic processes in Azerbaijan and underlined readiness to render necessary assistance in this sphere.

They exchanged view and responded the questions.
