The Working Group told APA that Mazahir Aliyev, who has been working in police authorities for years, has been appointed to this post on June 8.
Prior to this, Mazahir Aliyev worked as a deputy chief of the Main Drug Enforcement Department of the Internal Affairs Ministry. He has retired from here.
Chairman of the State Commission for Fighting against Drug Addiction and Illicit Drugs Trafficking, Deputy Prime Minister Ali Hasanov dismissed the head of the Working Group Araz Aliguliyev from his post for shortcomings in his work last month.
