Republican Traffic Police Department starts raids on roads

He said that the raids have been started today. Such operations are carried out due to many deaths registered as a result of traffic accidents. Within the raid operations on the roads throughout the country strong measures will be taken against the persons driving their cars in high speed, cars without vehicle inspection and breaking the law while transporting freight. At the same time the drunken drivers will be identified and fined.

K. Aliyev also said that the movement on the main highways escalated due to summer season. Thatâ€™s way we ask the drivers to be careful on the roads, not to exceed the speed limit and to have a check of vehicle inspection in time.

16 traffic accidents resulted in 7 deaths and 18 injured were registered yesterday on the countryâ€™s roads. A fatal traffic accident in Masalli region killed 4 people.
