801 foreigners deported from Azerbaijan last month

In November, the Service received 4974 applications from foreigners and stateless persons for extending the term of the sojournment, getting permissions for temporary and permanent residence, determining the refugee status, getting individual permissions for labor activity and extending the term of the individual permissions. Each of the appeals was investigated in accordance with the legislation and relevant decisions were passed.

The employees of the State Migration Service also took measures to prevent the illegal migration, violation by foreigners and stateless persons of the rules for sojournment and permanent residence in Azerbaijan. It was found out that 935 foreigners violated the requirements of the administrative legislation, 134 of them paid fines and their residence was legalized, decisions were passed about 619 foreigners in accordance with the Code of Administrative Offences. According to the decisions, they were to leave the country within 48 hours, 182 foreigners were to leave the country in an administrative order. 16 foreigners did not undergo administrative punishment, since they were under 16.

Measures are continued to strengthen the state control over the migration.
