Chief of the firefighting department of the Firefighting Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Sabirabad region Alirza Hamzayev told APA local bureau that the fire took place in a private house at Isgandarov Street 26 in the center of the region at about 21.00 on December 5. Firefighters could extinguish the fire, but two people, including a three-year old child were killed during the incident.
Aslan Babashov, 84 was killed as a result of stifling by smoke, but his grandson Babashov Vugar died as a result of serious skin burns.
The fact is under the investigation.
