According to him, at the invitation of Russia, the Azerbaijani representatives will hold talks on the demarcation of borders in this country between May 13 and 18.
The committee chairman said that the negotiations on the delimitation of the borders with Georgia are conducted at the level of commissions: “At that moment, we are waiting for the invitation from Georgia. 300 km out 480 km border has been agreed with Georgia. The negotiations are being conducted on the remaining 180 km.”
Mammadov also said that during the negotiations, the issues on Eresmedi village laid by Georgia in the area of Balakan will also be discussed: “Georgia has laid Eresmedi village in 20 ha area of Balakan region. The negotiations will be held on replacement of this village.”
