An event entitled "The Ashig of the Word – The Ashig of the Saz," dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the death of Ashig Alasgar, was held in Shusha as part of the Vagif Poetry Days, APA's correspondent dispatched to Shusha reports.
The event highlighted Ashig Alasgar's rich literary legacy, his role in the development of Azerbaijani ashig art, and his contributions to the country's national and spiritual heritage.
It was noted that the master's legacy remains relevant today, and that his poetry and saz art continue to serve as a valuable spiritual source for new generations.
