Azerbaijan exported 12.7 billion cubic meters of gas in the first half of this year, the Ministry of Energy said, APA-Economics reports.
According to the information, 5.9 billion cubic meters of the exported gas was supplied to Europe, 4.9 billion cubic meters to Türkiye (including 3 billion cubic meters via TANAP), 1.2 billion cubic meters to Georgia, and 0.7 billion cubic meters to Syria.
According to the Ministry, 25.4 billion cubic meters of natural gas were produced in the country in January-June 2026.
"Of the total gas produced, 7.3 billion cubic meters came from the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli field, 13.7 billion cubic meters from Shah Deniz, 0.8 billion cubic meters from the Absheron field, and 3.6 billion cubic meters from SOCAR," the statement said.
