A Central Commission to Assist with the Population Census will be established by a Cabinet of Ministers decision to coordinate the activities of central and local executive authorities, agencies, enterprises, and organizations in preparation for and during the population census, Prime Minister Ali Asadov said at a Cabinet of Ministers meeting dedicated to issues related to the upcoming population census in Azerbaijan, APA reports.
The prime minister noted that Deputy Prime Minister Samir Sharifov has been appointed as chairman of the commission.
"Relevant institutions must submit candidates at the deputy head level within 10 days for the formation of the commission," he said.
