The full range of issues related to the Caspian Sea was discussed, Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said at a joint press conference with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Moscow, APA reports.
The minister said that special attention was paid to the problem of the declining level of the Caspian Sea.
"It was noted that this could have serious environmental as well as socio-economic consequences. It was emphasized that addressing this problem requires the consolidation of efforts by all Caspian littoral states, the conduct of joint scientific research, and the implementation of comprehensive practical measures," he said.
