APA reports according to the statistics of the Central Bank, that the volume of currency transactions in USD decreased by 3 times compared to the same period of last year. In other words, the volume of currency transactions in USD as of July 1 was $3,320,382,400, while this figure was $9,174,167,600.
Foreign exchange cash in the amount of $1,699,179,700 were sold in January-June, down 5 times compared to the same period of last year. In six months of this year, $1,621,202,800 was sold. This figure is 6.5% times more compared to the same period of last year.
The volume of currency transactions in Euro declined by 1.6 times in five months of this year. Euro operations stood at € 462,647,800 in January-June, €739,994,600 in the same period of 2015.
Foreign exchange cash in the amount of €281,103,300 were sold in five months of this year, down 2.1 times compared to the same period of last year. In January-June, €181,544,500 was purchased. This figure is 19.4% times more compared to the same period of last year.
