Iraq’s Minister of Communications Hayam al-Yasiri has visited Baku, APA-Economics reports, citing Iraqi media.
The purpose of the visit is to discuss the implementation status of agreements and Memoranda of Understanding signed between Azerbaijan and Iraq, as well as to review issues related to expanding cooperation.
She will also participate in the fourth meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on economic, scientific, technical, and cultural cooperation between Azerbaijan and Iraq, to be held in Baku.
Within the framework of the meetings, negotiations are expected to be held on joint projects between Azerbaijan and Iraq in the field of communications and digital technologies, mutual exchange of experience, and new areas of cooperation.
