The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) will make its final decision of the year on the interest rate this week, on December 10, for 2025, the CBA told APA-Economics.
The Central Bank last lowered the interest rate on July 23 of this year — for the first time in more than a year — from 7.25% to 7%. In its most recent decision, on October 22, it kept the interest rate unchanged.
The CBA stated that the next decision on the parameters of the interest rate corridor will depend on the direction of actual inflation, as well as the dynamics of external and internal risk factors.
Recall that foreign financial institutions forecast that the Central Bank will keep the interest rate at the level of 7% for this year.
