During January–July this year, tax revenues collected through the State Tax Service and transferred to the state budget amounted to AZN 11.4741 billion, the State Tax Service said, APA-Economics reports.
The figure exceeded the forecast by AZN 848.1 million. Compared to the corresponding period of 2025, tax revenues increased by AZN 913.3 million, or approximately 8.6%.
Tax revenues from the non-oil and gas sector totaled AZN 8.4888 billion, with AZN 251.8 million paid into the state budget above the forecast. Compared to the same period of 2025, tax revenues from the sector increased by AZN 898.4 million, or 11.8%.
During the reporting period, revenues from compulsory state social insurance contributions amounted to AZN 4.0373 billion, exceeding the forecast by AZN 229.4 million. Contributions from non-budget organizations totaled more than AZN 2.6872 billion.
During the same period, unemployment insurance contributions amounted to AZN 143.5 million, exceeding the forecast by AZN 6.8 million. Contributions from non-budget organizations totaled nearly AZN 110.2 million.
Revenues from mandatory health insurance contributions amounted to nearly AZN 606.8 million, exceeding the forecast by AZN 15.6 million. Contributions from non-budget organizations totaled nearly AZN 402.4 million.
