The expenditures of the Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) for 2026 will be approved in the amount of AZN 266,400,000.0, APA reports.
This is reflected in the draft law “On the 2026 Budget of the Unemployment Insurance Fund,” which was discussed at today’s session of the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament).
The sources of funding for these expenditures will be as follows:
- revenues of the Unemployment Insurance Fund’s 2026 budget – 238,300,000.0 manat;
- 28,100,000.0 manat from the reserve created by the Unemployment Insurance Fund as of January 1, 2026, allocated to finance the expenditures of 2026.
After the discussions, the draft was put to a vote and adopted at the third reading.
