In January-October of this year, insurance market collections in Azerbaijan amounted to 1 billion 255 million 973 thousand manat, APA-Economics reports, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
This is 12.8% more than in the same period last year.
The amount of payments made by insurance companies during this period amounted to 772 million 602 thousand manat. This is 24.1% more than in the previous year.
Note that for every 100 manats of insurance premiums collected in the insurance market during the reporting period, 61.5 manats were paid. In the same period last year, this figure was 55.9 manats.
