At today’s meeting of the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament), the draft law “On the state budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026” was put up for discussion, APA reports.
Based on the draft, the revenues of the state budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026 are projected at 38,609,000.0 thousand manats, and the expenditures at 41,703,600.0 thousand manats (including centralized revenues of 37,850,712.0 thousand manats, local revenues of 758,288.0 thousand manats, centralized expenditures of 40,944,465.0 thousand manats, and local expenditures of 759,135.0 thousand manats).
The upper limit (limit) of domestic state borrowing for 2026 of the Republic of Azerbaijan will be approved at 2,000,000.0 thousand manats, the upper limit of external state borrowing at 6,000,000.0 thousand manats, and the upper limit of state guarantees to be issued during the year at 3,000,000.0 thousand manats.
The upper limit of the state budget deficit is set at 3,094,600.0 thousand manats.
After the discussions, the draft was put to a vote and adopted in the second reading.
