The expenditures of the Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) for 2026 will be approved in the amount of 266,400,000.0 manats, APA reports.
This is reflected in the draft law “On the budget of the Unemployment Insurance Fund for 2026,” which was discussed at today’s meeting of the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament).
The sources of financing for these expenditures will be the following:
- the revenues of the Unemployment Insurance Fund’s 2026 budget — 238,300,000.0 manats;
- 28,100,000.0 manats allocated from the reserve created as of January 1, 2026, of the Unemployment Insurance Fund for financing the 2026 expenditures.
After the discussions, the draft was put to a vote and adopted in the second reading.
