As a result of customs control measures carried out by employees of the Main Customs Department for Air Transport, 17 mobile phones, a large number of mobile phone spare parts and accessories that had not been declared to the customs authority were discovered, the State Customs Committee said, APA-Economics reports.
According to the information, the suitcase of a citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan who arrived on the Istanbul-Baku flight was subjected to a customs inspection. During the inspection, a total of 17 iPhone mobile phones with various specifications, 190 screens for mobile phones of various brands, and accessories that had not been declared to the customs authority were discovered in the suitcase.
An investigation into the fact is underway.
