Tax authorities switch to 3G services in Azerbaijan

Head of Information Technology of the Taxes Ministry Eyyub Ibrahimov says the introduction of 3G technology created conditions for provision of new tax services in Azerbaijan.

A more interesting form of this service will be the creation video connection called "video device" with tax services. Note that, currently this service can be used in the taxpayer service centers and regional tax offices in the regions of the country: â€œNow we are expanding the service and regardless of where the taxpayers - in Baku, the regions, even abroad, you can adjust video-telephone communication with the staff of the Ministryâ€.

Some services of the Ministry of Taxes will be introduced much earlier. Thus, according to a new project, which will soon be put into operation, the subscribers of mobile phones can connect to the SMS-service. Taxpayers who have joined to SMS-service, will regularly receive information about their tax liabilities and transactions via SMS.

The introduction of this service is planned within the next month. The mobile operator will charge a fee for this service - the monthly fee is AZN 1.18. The next step is to create the possibility of tax payments via mobile phones. Ibrahimov noted that, at present, in connection with the appropriate program, appropriate were being designed for all phone models.
