Zamin Bank doubles interest profit

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev – APA-Economics. Azerbaijan-based Zamin Bank’s profit made AZN 0.362 mln in 2011, down by 4 times from 2010.

Bank says total income rose 70% to AZN 35.530 mln, as well interest income soared 57% to AZN 25.832 mln, non-interest income grew by 2.1 times to AZN 10.698 mln. At the same time, total expenditure increased by 80% to AZN 36.168 mln, including interest expenditures surged 20% to AZN 9.443 mln, non-interest expenditures – by 2.2 times to AZN 26.725 mln.

Interest profit approximately doubled to AZN 16.390 mln, non-interest loss rose by 2.2 times to AZN 16.027 mln.

Remind that, Zamin Bank has been in operation since 1992. The bank operates 38 branches, Moscow representation, 38 ATMs and 1,891 POS-terminals across the country.
