GDP in Germany drops slightly in the fourth quarter of 2011‎

Baku - APA-Economics. As expected, in a quarter-on-quarter comparison German GDP s.a. decreased 0.2% in the fourth quarter of 2011, following a 0.2% decline in the previous quarter, according to data released today by Destatis, Fxstreet reported.
When compared with a year earlier, German GDP n.s.a grew 1.5% in the fourth quarter of 2011, the same as in the previous quarter, while annual German GDP w.d.a. rose 2% in Q4, in comparison with 2.6% in the third quarter. These results are also in line with analysts’ expectations.
