The President of the Republic of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has said that his country plans to produce 100,000 barrels of oil per day from next year at the “Inovalig Champions” award ceremony, which rewards innovative projects in the industry sector, APA-Economic reports citing Anadolu Agency.

Above all, Erdogan welcomed the spectacular progress made by his country in recent years in the field of the defense industry in particular.

He shared some revealing data from his point of view.

“20 years ago, the number of our companies specializing in the defense industry was 56, they are more than 1,600 today,” he first said.

Thus, with the multiplication of companies in this sector, production and exports have also multiplied.

“Our defense industry exports have increased in a few years from 248 million dollars to more than 4 billion this year,” he said.

Erdogan explained that this painting was not the result of chance, but the result of a policy desired and supported by the Turkish state.

“The budget allocated to defense industry projects has increased from $5.5 billion to $75 billion,” he explained.
