Turkey supports Azerbaijan's green energy projects launched in liberated territories

"We also support Azerbaijan's green energy projects," said Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay, APA reports citing Anadolu.

According to him, major infrastructure projects implemented jointly by Azerbaijan and Turkey, such as the Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum gas pipeline, Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline (BTC), and the Trans-Anatolian gas pipeline (TANAP), makes a significant contribution to energy security not only of the two countries but also of the region and Europe.

Fuat Oktay said that if until recently energy cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey covered hydrocarbons, now this cooperation has also increased in the field of alternative energy sources.

We also support the "green energy" projects launched in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan after the Karabakh Victory. "On the other hand, our country shares its knowledge and experience in the field of energy with the relevant agencies of Azerbaijan and contributes to the training of qualified personnel in the field of energy," he said.
