In January-February this year, 5 575 000 tons of oil was transported via main oil pipelines in Azerbaijan, which is 3,9% less than in comparison to the relevant figure of 2021, the State Statistics Committee told APA.
76.7% of transportation was carried out via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) oil export pipeline, 4 276 9 thousand tons of oil was transported through the pipeline during the reporting period (3.6% less than in 2021).
According to the report, 800,9 thousand tons of transit oil (twice as much as a year) were transported via the BTC during the reporting period.
