"Under the executive agreement signed between the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan and BP, the construction of a solar power plant with a capacity of 240 MW in the Jabrayil region will cost about $ 200 million," Tabriz Ammayev, director of the State Agency for Renewable Energy Sources under the Ministry of Energy, said at a briefing in the groundbreaking area of Garadagh Solar Power Plant.
According to him, the price will depend on a number of factors, which include the cost of panels and the price of other materials, logistics, and earthworks in the area. "Currently, work is underway to conduct relevant analysis within the framework of this executive agreement."
