The rules for installing electricity meters in backyards have been determined, and the rules for installing meters in apartments have been changed, APA reports.
In this regard, the Cabinet of Ministers amended the "Laws of Azerbaijan on electricity usage."
Electricity meters in the apartments of domestic subscribers in the existing residential buildings could be installed at the entrances of residential buildings or on the stairwells at the expense of the energy supply company. In new residential buildings, household electricity meters were to be installed at the entrances of residential buildings or on the stairwells. This calculation required that the electricity meters be installed on an electrical board with no outside interference.
According to the amendment, electricity meters in residential and residential buildings must be installed at the expense of the energy supply company, on the outside of the fence (in the absence of a fence on the facade of the house), at the entrance to the apartment or on the stairwells. Electricity meters of household subscribers in new houses and residential buildings should be installed on the outside of the fence (in the absence of a fence on the facade of the house), at the entrance to the apartments or in the stairwells of these apartments.
