In 2021, the field produced around 23 billion standard cubic metres (bscm) of gas from Shah Deniz, which is 27,1% more in annual comparison, APA-Economics reports citing report published by BP (project operator) on the results of operations in Azerbaijan in 2021.
During the reporting period more than 4 million tonnes (around 34 million barrels) of condensate in total was produced from the Shah Deniz Alpha and Shah Deniz Bravo platforms which is 11,1% more in comparison to the same period of the previous year.
The existing Shah Deniz facilities’ production capacity is currently about 72 million standard cubic metres of gas per day or more than 26 bcma.
